A person can not simply just run. It is impossible to have a happy life this way. Focus on your training and make it a priority. Focus on making healthy decisions and having the best lifestyle for an athlete. Remember that when you are done with your workouts for the day it is okay to do other things
and think about other things.
Don’t miss out. Look at what else the world has to offer. See what is happening around you. Pay attention to the people in your life. Have other hobbies and interests. Have goals outside of running. The best runners are well rounded people. They have more going for them than just running. This isn’t a coincidence. When you can channel your energy in multiple directions you are able to accomplish more. Don’t “put all of your eggs in one basket”. Spread them out Incase you drop the basket. Love running but also love life.
