Belief & Gratitude

Belief & Gratitude week 2

This week I ran 30 miles. My goal was to run 30-35 miles this week so I accomplished this. I felt like I could have ran a little further a few days but I didn’t want to push it because even though I feel decent overall, I do not feel perfect everyday. I had blood work on Thursday and hopefully I will hear back from my insurance soon about getting the mri and other tests. In the mean time I am just going to keep running and hoping that things keep going well.

Here are the things that I am thankful for this week:

My 90s shoes didn’t hurt my feet

I had the courage to add a third class to my schedule this semester even though this will probably stress me out at the same time. My classes start tomorrow and end on March 29th.

We had breakfast for dinner one night

I ran outside Saturday with one of my friends and I felt really good

I had breakfast with another friend after I ran and the waffle iron was fixed so we finally got the red velvet waffles!!

I went to marshalls and found another sale! I got a new sweater that I love and some cute new running tights.

I made cinnamon buns

This week the song I downloaded was Stronger by Kelly Clarkson. I am late to jump on the bandwagon with this one but I have always liked this song so I decided I would finally buy it.

Overall my week was kind of boring and lame but thats okay, starting tomorrow things are going to be quite hectic.

What did everyone else do this past week? Also, can anyone recommend a few songs for me to download next week?

  2. 30 miles is pretty good- I’m glad you were feeling better and agree it’s best not to push it too hard with mileage and workouts unless you’re training for something specifically. I hope you hear back from the bloodwork soon and feel better soon too. I love running with friends, probably most of my long runs and speedy runs are with others and it really helps.

  3. I am hoping this week brings us to hang out. I’m really hoping so.

I like those tights a lot. I’m glad your running has felt pretty good as you increase your mileage again. 🙂

    1. Hi Katrin,
I use wordpress.com as the platform for my blog. I am currently using the splendio theme. I created the image collage at the top on my own. Thanks for visiting theroadlessrun.com!
