Belief & Gratitude

Belief & Gratitude weeks 11, 12, 13 & 14

Its time for a belief and gratitude post because I haven’t done one lately. I am still keeping a daily list of things I am grateful for in my gratitude journal and I am enjoying this activity. I am so glad that I decided to do this in 2015. My believe journal was lacking for a while but I managed to fill in the blanks the best I could and I finally felt back on track last week with running. I hit a 30 mile week and I ran a 20:26 5k with little training and less than perfect health because I believed I could. The mind is powerful!!

Things I have been thankful for the last 4 weeks:

-I ran one great workout on the track

-I found salsa in the cabinet

-I have a black cat to celebrate Friday the 13th with

-I saw so many of my favorite former athletes on multiple occasions

-I got a 100 on a quiz

-I’ve done yoga a lot

-I drank a lot of coffee

-I got a new journal

-I went to my friend’s baby shower

-I wore a sequin shirt

-I bought a lot of new EOS products (not all are pictured)

-I bought some new nail polish (pictured above)

-I rediscovered ice cream

-I had fun doing role plays for one of my classes

-Scored a 97 on my final assignment because it was too long…..

-I walked home from the center of town and felt like I was in stars hallow

-I painted Believe and Dream signs

-I finished my second quarter of graduate school

-My boss went to a conference and brought me back an EOS lip balm because she knows they are my favorite

-I ran on the trails at work

-I entered and ran a 5k on the track

-I had breakfast for dinner

-Phil and I went to friendly’s

-I ordered new running shoes

-I became a USATF level 1 certified coach

-I got As in my classes this quarter

-I spent time with family for Easter

-I just ordered a new sparkly soul

-My cats did a lot of cute things

  2. I’m glad things are looking up for you- you have a lot to be grateful for :). I love your new shoes and I just got a pair of New Balance (my first time with this brand) myself and really like them. Here’s to more 30 mile weeks and speedy 5Ks!
