The Wise Man

You used to sit across from me imparting everything you knew

Now without your knowledge, I don’t know what I would do

You preached with redundancy and always had entirely too much to say

These are the words I miss the most every single day

Education is important make sure you do well in school, you said this all the time along with knowledge is something no one can take away

It’s not what you know it’s who you know and life is not fair, so remember family are the only ones who will always be there

Work hard everyday and your dreams can come true

Help others when you can but always look out for you

People will screw you over so tell them to go pound sand, as long as you know you are right you have the upper hand

We all fail sometimes, I’m not the smartest man, but wise men learn from their faults so become a wise man
