I cut 10+ inches off of my hair.
I hadn’t planned on doing this. I hadn’t discussed it with anyone. I just did it. Until last night, I hadn’t cut my hair in a year and a half–not even a trim.
So why now? IMPULSE. I walked right into a hair salon and said chop it off! I didn’t actually say that, but I did say I needed to get a haircut and that I wanted it cut short, not a trim.
The last time I was impulsive I signed up for a marathon. Cutting my hair was a lot less painful! I have also cut all of my hair off before and the beauty of it is, it grows back. Each time I do it I donate my hair. My hair grows pretty fast and I have lots of it so I figure, why not share?
Being impulsive allows you to live in the moment and focus on the here and now. You are present. You don’t worry about the past and you don’t worry about the future, you just live life as you are experiencing it. Cutting my hair off made me happy when I was doing it. I didn’t care if my friends and family liked it or not. I just did it. It was liberating.
Have you ever done anything impulsive?
Looks great!! I’ve definitely signed up for marathons impulsively. That’s the fun, right?! 😉

Your hair looks fabulous.
I’ve dyed my hair blonde as well as got bangs once. Neither looked good on me but I just love your shorter hair.
