Throwback Thursday: College Photos

I haven’t done a #throwbackthursday post in a long time although I always have lots of stories to tell. This week I have decided to share some photos of my college days and briefly caption them for you.

This photo was taken before an XC banquet my freshman year of college (2005). Because I am small, my teammates asked me to squeeze into this kiddy ride and I did.

The two photos above are from an XC banquet my sophomore year. This was the year that I bought glow in the dark sunglasses on the boardwalk and wore them everywhere. I also had a hello kitty purse (I miss that) and I wore socks with my adidas sandals to the banquet even though I am certain everyone else wore nice shoes. I have no idea why I decided to sit on that piece of art.

This was from the mandatory trip I had to take to the Philadelphia Art Museum in order to pass Art 101. I went with my parents and my dad ran up the steps like rocky. I was content standing in front of these daggers and taking a photo as evidence that I did indeed complete the assignment and visit the museum.

My first two years of college were better known as the sunglasses years…….

Then there was the one time I thought wearing a tie-dyed shirt and tie-dyed shorts together was a great idea
