Thursday I checked my mail box and found mail from soleathletica.com! I love getting fun things in the mail and this particular piece of mail was fantastic because it had my blog name on it! The littlest things excite me!

As a graduate student of sport psychology, a coach, and an athlete Sole Athletica stood out to me. These lace tags are a great reminder to stay positive and to abandon negative thoughts. Believing you can do something is half the battle. If you don’t believe you can do something there is a good chance that you will never actually do it. Positive words, quotes, and phrases can not only help a person to stay motivated, they can help us counter negative thoughts!
In a world filled with negativity I am always delighted to find companies that focus on empowering athletes to believe in themselves, especially one that applies a sport psychology technique!
