The grey area

Realize that everything is black and white and you are clear

The only grey is hopes and dreams that have disappeared

You feel invisible

You look in the mirror, nothing is there

You stare and stare and stare

Where did I go, what can be done?

Perpetual rejection feels so unfair

The hopes and dreams make me who I am

I am who I am, I don’t want to be clear

If only someone else could hear

The things I long for, the goals I’ve set, the magnificent reaction from the successes I’ve met!

Being in the gray area leads to despair

They chose to ignore me, they make me feel clear

My hopes and dreams disappear

Where do I go now, what do I do?

More grey-t ideas that will be clear to you

It’s a shame that I can’t see the world in black and white too
