When you fail at blogging….

I failed at blogging. I don’t even remember the last time I posted something. I think I’ve been really interesting lately so this is unfortunate.

I forgot most of the interesting things I’ve done. I have failed at blogging.

I jumped in the air. Not for fun, for a sparkly soul ambassador challenge. I had to jump way too many times that day before the picture came out like this ^. I ran 18 miles that day and my legs weren’t in the jumping mood. I failed at blogging, this is old news.

My grades from the summer quarter were posted. A, A-, A-. I failed at blogging because I was thrilled about this and I should have announced it to the world.

I ran in Joaquin, the hurricane that canceled my whole weekend. I kept saying “my weekend is wide open now just like the sky”. Not many people appreciated my humor. Also, I like wearing this hoodie. I failed at blogging because I typically like running in hurricanes and I should have dedicated a whole post to this.

I received my race kit for the new club I joined!! I failed at blogging because I joined this club weeks ago.

I failed at blogging because I have had 2 weeks off from grad school and I spent all of my down time watching 7th Heaven on Hulu.

I failed at blogging because I don’t have laundry piles all over the basement and no one knows about this. At most, I have had 2 loads of laundry to do at any given time the last few weeks. I should throw a party and invite all of my internet friends!!! πŸŽˆπŸŽŠπŸŽ‰πŸŽˆπŸŽŠπŸŽ‰

Sunday I ran 20 miles with Greta and two new teammates at one of my favorite places to run, Washington Crossing. This was the longest run I have ever done. It didn’t feel like 20 miles. I felt fast and strong. I did not fail at blogging this time because this just happened!

Everyone fails at blogging sometimes, especially when you become obsessed with watching 7th Heaven on Hulu. This is just one of those times.

  1. Even if you failed at blogging at least you’re succeeding at life, right? I didn’t get any posts written last week except my training log and I’m fine with that. I had an amazing week with friends and memories I won’t forget and that’s what counts, not necessarily documenting those things.

I always loved watching 7th Heaven. It was one of my faves growing up. I hate that it was taken off network TV due to the dad’s sexual abuse (but totally agree 100% with why it was taken off, just that I loved the show as a kid and it’s so sad!).

Congrats on the awesome 20 miler, the good grades, and joining the running club. Love your racing kit and know you’ll represent well.

    1. I have realized that sometimes not everything needs to go on the internet and other times there is just no time to write blog posts, for me its been a combination of both but most because I am too distracted by 7th heaven! I was also sad to learn about the dad but the show is still a great show! I hope all is well down south πŸ™‚

  2. That’s exciting about the Pacers running group. I want to hear more about it since a couple of my other friends (well our mutual friends ha) joined as well. You’ve had such a busy few months…blog failing=success at everything else.
